Comparing the impact of the Punitive Model with that of the
Violence Integrative Prevention and Restoration (PAR) Model

The following illustrates and ranks how two different models for describing and responding to violence impact the precursors and outcomes of violence. The two models are: 1) the traditional “punitive” model and 2) the new “Violence Integrative Prevention and Restoration (PAR) Model” developed by Ari Cowan.
